REPRESENTATIVE LAMBERT APPOINTED TO COMMITTEES
Austin, Texas: Today Rep. Stan Lambert (Abilene) was appointed to serve on the Defense and Veterans’ Affairs and Energy Resources Committees in the Texas House .
“Serving our veterans and members of the Armed Services is a great honor. As a member of the House Defense and Veteran’s Affairs Committee, I look forward to insuring that our military neighbors are treated with the respect they deserve. Generating 806,000 jobs statewide, we need to properly focus on our military and maintaining our thirteen installations, “ stated Rep. Lambert.
“With a yearly economic impact of $1.22 Billion in the Big Country, I am excited to be part of a process that is so vital to our region. I will give careful consideration to energy issues and how they not only affect our region, but also the entire state.”

Rep. Lambert is in his first term representing District 71, which is comprised of Taylor, Nolan and Jones Counties.
