State Rep. White Announces TxDOT Transportation Improvement Projects in Polk County
(Austin, TX) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has started construction of four transportation improvement projects in Polk county.
An enhanced surface treatment project started on August 2, 2016 along U.S. 59. TxDOT estimates project completion in three months with a cost of $1,250,482.54.
Nine Bridge Road at Piney Creek Relief saw the start of construction of a new bridge on August 8, 2016. The project will conclude in 8 months with a cost of $740,248.00.
Rehabilitation of the bridge on FM 62 started on September 13, 2016. TxDOT expects completion in four months. The cost for this project is $495,378.86.
The replacement of the bridge and approaches on Bluewater Road started on September 12, 2016. With a cost of $885,751.00, TxDOT expects construction to end in approximately one year.
