TxDOT Public Meeting for Proposed US 69 Project
(Austin, TX) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Beaumont District will be hosting an Open House Public Meeting for the proposed improvements along U.S. Highway 69 from Tram Road to Cooks Lake Road in Jefferson and Hardin Counties. State Representative James White highly encourages interested parties and stakeholders to attend this discussion.
The meeting will take place on Monday, May 16th at the Guess Elementary School gymnasium (8055 Old Voth Road, Beaumont, TX 77708) from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
During the meeting, attendees will be able to meet with project staff, review the available project information and exhibits, and express views and concerns. Public involvement is an ongoing aspect of the project development process that encourages and solicits input and provides the opportunity for the public to become fully informed about the project.
"Southeast Texans understand the importance of roads and a strong transportation system. Input from local stakeholders is valuable and all who are interested should highly consider attending this meeting," said Rep. White.
