Texas Parks & Wildlife Department to Host Meeting in Livingston on April 5th
(Austin, TX) - The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) will be hosting a meeting open to interested stakeholders. The meeting will primarily focus on having a discussion in Polk County concerning the fish stocking of Lake Livingston. The meeting is open to the public and it is encouraged for business owners, fishing enthusiasts, and local governing officials to attend.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday April 5th beginning at 3 p.m. at the First National Bank of Livingston (2121 U.S. 190, Livingston, TX 77351). Staff from the TPWD will provide information regarding the fish restocking of the lake and will take any questions from attendees.
"I thank the TPWD for coming out and providing information to the citizens of Polk county. Lake Livingston is one of the largest lakes in the state and an integral part of the Southeast Texas economy. Stakeholders are encouraged to come out and voice their concerns and hopes for the future of the lake," said Rep. White.
