State Rep. White Announces TxDOT Transportation Improvement Project in Jasper County
(Austin, TX) - Recently, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) started improvement projects in Jasper County.
On February 24, TxDOT began work on FM 1004 from US 96 at Call Junction to 2.5 miles west of US 96. The project will consist of widening the road. The project is expected to cost a total of $1,120,934.72.
On March 1, a project was started on FM 1007 from US 96 to RE 255. This project will be for the construction of a safety project and will provide additional paved surface and centerline texturing. The project is expected to cost a total of $1,655,300.24.
