Schubert Visits Brenham State Supported Living Center

AUSTIN – State Representative Leighton Schubert (Caldwell) provided a legislative update at last Sunday’s Family Association meeting held at the Chapel on the campus of the Brenham State Supported Living Center. “I am honored to have the opportunity to visit with members of the Family Association and staff of the Brenham State Supported Living Center,” stated Schubert. As we have reached the half-way mark of the 84th Regular Session, I look forward to continuing to discuss the status of key legislation that is important to the state supported living center, the state budget and other key issues that impact the residents and staff of the Brenham State Supported Living Center,” stated Schubert.

Schubert was recently elected to House District 13 and immediately began serving his district by meeting with constituents and working in Austin to monitor and address the issues critical to the district since being sworn in this past March. The Family Association meeting took place on Sunday, April 19th in the Chapel at the Brenham State Supported Living Center.
