AUSTIN - Texas State Senator Jane Nelson, Flower Mound, and Representative Four Price, Amarillo, today congratulated the Texas Sunset Commission on being selected as a winner of a 2015 National Legislative Program Evaluation Society (NLPES) Certificate of Impact. "Congratulations to Sunset staff on this important recognition," said Senator Nelson. "Sunset conducted thoughtful reviews of several state agencies this cycle, and their work lead to meaningful reforms in the 84th Legislature. This award reinforces the benefit of the Sunset process, which has led to greater efficiency and effectiveness throughout state government."

"Throughout my four years of service on the Sunset Advisory Commission, I have worked closely with the Sunset staff.
