Rep. Mary E. González Hits the Ground Running for Sophomore Session
Austin, TX -- Representative Mary E. González is ahead of the curve heading into her sophomore legislative session. On the first day of pre-filing, Rep. González has already filed over twenty pieces of legislation that demonstrate her continued commitment to the issues facing El Paso County and a vision for a better future for all Texans.
"I am so proud of the twenty-two bills we filed this morning, and we are just getting started!" State Rep. González said. "Our agenda is focused on the top areas for my office: education, agriculture, local needs, and social justice.
I am incredibly thankful to have this opportunity to, again, represent El Paso County and the residents of House District 75 in the Texas Legislature. My team and I are committed to doing the best job possible, and filing early is the first step to our success."
From support for our agricultural community to the standards we set for statewide office holders, González' robust agenda shows a deep understanding of the issues most important to Texans and their future.
