REP. LOZANO TO DELIVER COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS AT TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY--KINGSVILLE
Kingsville, TX—Representative J.M. Lozano (Kingsville) will be delivering the commencement address to the Spring 2011 graduating class of Texas A&M University--Kingsville on Friday May 13, 2011. There will be two graduation ceremonies at 1p.m. and at 4 p.m. The first ceremony will be for students of the arts and sciences; the second ceremony will be for students of agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences.
"It was a huge honor to receive an invitation to deliver the commencement address at Texas A&M Kingsville." Rep. Lozano said. "I'm looking forward to speaking to students who I am confident will affect change in their communities and make a positive impact on those around them. "
Texas A&M University--Kingsville, located in Rep. Lozano's hometown, has been at the forefront of Lozano's legislative priorities. Rep. Lozano has been working closely with university officials on a number of priorities such as funding for a Veterinary Technology Program, tuition revenue bonds to renovate and improve the music building, and fending off budget cuts
