Frullo Co-Authors Key Conservative Initiatives

AUSTIN- Remaining steadfast in his core principles, State Representative John Frullo (Lubbock) co-authored several pieces of legislation critical to ensuring that both the Second Amendment and the importance of life are upheld during the 82nd Legislative Session.

As a staunch proponent of Constitutional rights, Frullo co-authored HB 681, allowing employees with Concealed Handgun Licenses to store their firearms in their vehicles while in their employer's parking lot. Frullo is also a co-author of HB 750, commonly known as the Concealed Carry on Campus Bill, as well as HB 698, which permits CHL holders to carry their concealed handguns while attending school board meetings.

"Law abiding citizens should have the ability to protect themselves," Frullo said. "Our country was founded with the Constitutional right to bear arms, and I fully intend to uphold that."

Holding firm to his pro-life beliefs, Frullo joined forces with colleagues in co-authoring HB 201, commonly referred to as the Sonogram Bill, which strengthens current informed consent laws.

"There is nothing more important than life," Frullo said, "and every possible effort should be taken to preserve it. With such a huge decision facing them, women should have all of the pertinent information available in order to make an informed decision."
