Austin, TX – Today, the bi-partisan Tarrant County Delegation elected Representative Stephanie Klick (Fort Worth) as its chairwoman and Representative Bill Zedler (Arlington) as its vice-chairman. Tarrant County remains one of the most populated counties in Texas and recently picked up an additional House seat during redistricting.

“I am honored to be elected by my fellow members to serve as the chair for the Tarrant County Delegation. I look forward to working closely with the delegation and pushing for common sense policies that will improve our state and community,” said Klick.

"I would like to thank the members of the Tarrant County delegation for having enough faith in me to elect me as Vice-Chair of the Tarrant Cty Delegation. I look forward to assisting Stephanie Klick and making sure that the entire Tarrant County Delegation is working together to meet the demands of one of the fastest growing counties in the state."

This bi-partisan delegation is solely made up of Texas Legislators whose district are in Tarrant County. The delegation will meet regularly to discuss and study an array of issues that are important to Tarrant County and the state. During its next meeting the caucus will elect the remaining officers.

State Representative Stephanie Klick was elected to the Texas House in November of 2012 and represents North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Watauga, Haltom City, and parts of Fort Worth. Klick is a graduate of Texas Christian University and currently works as a nursing consultant.

State Representative Bill Zedler was first elected in 2002 to represent District 96 in the Texas House of Representatives. He is a 30-year resident of Arlington, where he and his wife, Ellen, raised their family.
