State Representative Jodie Laubenberg is serving her sixth term in the Texas Legislature. She represents the southern and eastern areas of Collin County.
Rep. Laubenberg serves on the House Committee on Public Health and the House Committee on Investments and Financial Services. She also serves as the State Chair for the American Legislative Exchange Council.
As a strong supporter of free market solutions, Jodie has been consistently recognized by the Texas Association of Business as a Champion and Fighter for Free Enterprise.
Rep. Laubenberg has taken an active role in securing Texas' future water resources. She has authored and co-authored legislation that will secure and protect North Texas' ability to provide adequate water to the area's fast growing population and business development.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Jodie lives in Parker, where she previously served as a member of the city council. She and her husband Bob, have two children: David, a graduate of UT who resides in Plano, and Liz, a recent graduate of Mississippi College.
